Title: What is the real legacy of major cultural and sport events for the creative economy and creative cities? To what extent does the project play in favour of the city or, conversely, the city is put at the service of the project? How can neglected areas benefit from major projects? The role of the World Cup, the Olympic Games and international museums is studied and explored through five cases, written by international experts on each of them: London 2012, Barcelona 1992, South Africa 2010, Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and Library-Parks in Bogotá and Medellín.
