Audiovisual and Music. Two cultural sectors of enormous identity relevance, anchored in micro and small-sized enterprises and, increasingly, also recognized for their contribution to the country’s economy.
The development of a Sebrae action strategy in these sectors, requested by the Creative Economy Portfolio/Competitiveness Unit, could not be more timely. In dialogue with the New Brazilian Industrialization, with Sebrae’s 2024-2027 Strategic Planning – vision 2035, and constituting a body of subsidies for the formulation, monitoring and evaluation of cross-cutting public policies, the Sebrae National Strategic Action Plan for Audiovisual and Music is guided by internal listening, market connection, pursuit of innovations, and ecosystem analysis of the sectors and their chains.
The Plan consists of seven blocks, starting from the genesis, trajectory and concepts of creative economy and future-bearing economy, to arrive at Sebrae’s positioning in both sectors, guidelines and 14 tactical projects. Midway through, a thorough diagnosis of both sectors, macro and sectoral trends, and complex SWOT analyses revealing great opportunities for MSEs in both sectors, the country’s development policies and the achievement of the SDGs. A work whose scope does justice to the talent, work and determination of audiovisual and music entrepreneurs in Brazil.
