Objectives: To reinforce and consolidate the entity’s role as an agent for the articulation and promotion of an agenda involving culture and business. The SESI Seminar and Creative Economy, Culture and Business Days encompassed cultural issues from a business perspective (creative economy and creative cities).
Model: Two days of debates in São Paulo, totaling 22 speakers and moderators from nine countries; one day in Campinas and another in Ribeirão Preto. The congress was divided into two parts: keynote speeches to lay the foundations for the discussion; and practical application through international lectures and case studies. Among the speakers were professionals of the caliber of John Howkins and Charles Landry, and the leading authorities from six creative sectors: contemporary art, audiovisual, games, fashion, creative clusters, and major events.
